How to get there.

Location.

Velocity Angling Complex is located in the South West of England between Wedmore and Westhay within the Bridgewater and Bristol catchments area.

From leaving junction 22/23 on the main M5 motorway which runs from North to South you are looking at a 25 minutes drive to the venue. For those of you that have a TOMTOM the post code is; BS28 4UB on Blakeway Rd

Directions from M5 North Leave the M5 Motorway at junction 22. Take exit 1 at the main roundabout, and get onto the A38 south bound towards Highbridge, stay on the A38 for about 350yds until you see a sign for the B3139 on the LEFT for MARK take that turning and Follow this road for about 2 miles and on approach to a T junction turn left for Mark and Wedmore.
You will still be on the B3139 road until coming into Wedmore.
On approaching Wedmore you are looking for the B3151 to Glastonbury you are then about 4 miles from the Venue, as you come into Wedmore you will see a church in front of you, turn left for the B3151 towards Glastonbury you will approach a small mini roundabout and junction turn left and immediate right up the hill over wedmore. Stay on this road for 3 miles all the way to Velocity Angling Complex.
Just before the venue there will be a small bridge that you will go over, after the bridge about 300 yds on the right you will see a blue sign for Blakeway Fisheries 30 yds past the sign turn right and follow the track to the main entrance and the lakes are on the left hand side.

Directions from M5 South Leave the M5 at junction 23 and get onto the A39 towards Glastonbury you will be on the A39 for about 5 to10 minutes.
After going past a left turn towards Catcott you will travel about 500 meters down the road where you will drop into a wooded area on both sides of the road this is where you need to be looking for the left turn for Shapwick if you go pass a lay-by on the left you have gone to far but can pick the Shapwick road up again about ½ a mile up the road on the left just before entering into Ashcott.
Which ever left you take stay on the road until you pick up a sign for Westhay by this point you will be about 10 minutes from the venue (Note all of the roads from Shapwick to the Lake are country lanes so drive carefully). You will now come into Westhay and approach a T junction on the bend of the B3151 you need to turn left and follow the B3151 for about 1.5 miles, you will go past a post office on the right hand side over the river Brue and stay on the B3151 until you see a blue sign for Balkeway Fisheries on the left, turn left 20 yds before the sign and follow the track to the main entrance.

Directions from East of UK Head for the M4 towards Bristol and then pick up the M5 South West and follow directions from M5 North.

Directions from South East of UK. From the M25 pick up the M3 then pick up the A303 towards Salisbury, stay on the A303 until you are near Yeovil. You will then come to Podimore services and roundabout (this is the first roundabout on the A303 with a set of traffic light build on it). You will need to take the 3rd exit towards Glastonbury and Somerton on the B3151 for 1 mile and turn left onto the Somerton road, stay on the B3151 until you come into Street and then follow the signs for Glastonbury on the A39. On the first roundabout which has B&Q & a Texico garage go straight over by taking the 2nd exit on the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit on the 3rd roundabout take the 1st exit for Meare, stay on the B3151 all the way to the complex.
You are looking for Blakeway Fisheries Blue sign which is on the left the turning into the lakes is 20Yds before the blue sign.
