Recently Velocity Angling has taken over the running of  Peggy's lake which is set in the heart of the Avalon levels with some beautiful peaceful  surroundings.
This lake has some real old warriors with the average size of carp being around the mid 20lb bracket, but does have a handful of carp which are real target fish over the magic 30s and real individual character upper 20s.
If its old English carp you are seeking to catch then they don’t come much better than the residents that reside in Peggy’s lake.
