Rules
  1. All anglers are to book in at the fishery clubhouse which is situated in the car park (all details and a guide on how to book in is inside)
  2. Usage of Rowing Boats on Velocity Angling Complex is allowed by all BUT rules are to be understood before boats will be unlocked and permission granted for there use. Permission can only be granted by the management staff. Rules for the use of Rowing Boats are located in the clubhouse.
  3. All carp care equipment (other than clinic type antiseptics) are to be supplied by Velocity Angling Complex. At no time are you to use personal sacks, nets, mats or weigh slings. Carp Care Kits will be issued by the fishery on arrival and returned when you depart.
  4. Bailiff will conduct regular rig checks to ensure anglers are using SAFE   rigs and not DEATH rigs. BARBED hooks only
  5. No littering in or around your swim otherwise you will be asked to leave the complex.
  6. No keepnets unless fishing the match lake. (Greenlands)
  7. No sacking of fish in daylight hours (night time sacking is ok), From last light to first light.
  8. Particles are permitted but all seeds, peas and beans must be soaked and prepare properly prior to use. (They will get checked). NUTS ARE BANNED
  9. Minimum of 12lbs breaking strain mono or braided lines on the carp lakes (this is to include hook links).
  10. Unhooking mats and carp clinic must be used at all times.
  11. Bait boats are permitted but ensure you don’t hinder other anglers on the fishery. Rowing Boats are permitted but see rule 2
  12. Keep noise to a minimum and consider the other anglers on the fishery.
  13. No rods are to be unattended at anytime, if you leave your swim then your lines must be reeled in.
  14. Dogs are NOT permitted at any time Nor are fires.
  15. All personal entering the complex fishing or visiting at any time enter at there own risk the owners and management accept no responsibility nor liable for any personal damage, thief or accidents to you the anglers, visitors of your personal property or vehicles however caused.
  16. Under 16 years of age you will need to be accompanied by an adult for night time fishing.
  17. Removal or introduction of any fish is strictly prohibited anybody caught will be liable for prosecution.
  18. Ensure you park in the designated hard standing parking areas at all times.
  19. No vehicle movement around the complex other than the parking area.
  20. Drinking of alcohol is allowed but controlled on the complex, anybody caught over intoxicated and incapable of fishing with be asked to remove there rods from the water until they are sober enough to start fishing again. With a one off warning.

 

THIS FISHERY IS A CATCH A RELEASE VENUE

(ANYBODY CAUGHT KILLING OR REMOVING ANY FISH WILL BE PROSECUTED)

Just remember safety to the fish is paramount Thank you to all anglers that comply with the fisheries rules they are there for obvious reasons, anybody not complying with the rules will be asked to leave the complex.
